“Child Abuse and Neglect: What the Babysitter Didn’t Tell You” is a true story about a young child and the abuse and neglect she endured under a private day care babysitter. This abuse went on for many years. The babysitter was able to deceive the child into thinking she was loved and cared for. In gaining Tylene’s trust Kristen was able to abuse Tylene over and over again. Kristen explains how the fear and look in Tylene’s eyes made her feel powerful and excited. She was able to totally dominate this child.
How does one go about abusing a child and get away with it? Kristen tells everything she has done to this child in one last attempt it seems in redemption for what she put the child through. This may seem impossible but it does happen in the lives of many children every day.
If you have a child in a day care home that is being taken care of by a day care provider, a friend, or a relative this book will show you how one deceptive babysitter was able to get away with the abuse from the time the child started being cared for in her home. It is a true story based on what was told to me as the author of this book.
This story was in my mind and my heart for over 30 years. I have thought about Tylene over the years many times. The little girl is a woman now and she may be you reading this book. In this case, I have left out real names and used no addresses in this book. If you think you might be Tylene then feel free to contact me.
